Natrona County health and food inspections (7/17/26–7/23/26)

CASPER, Wyo. - The Casper-Natrona County Health Department released its weekly food safety inspection reports for the period of July 17 through July 23. Inspectors visited a range of establishments including restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, mobile food units, and commissaries across the county.

During this week, several facilities received routine inspections, with most passing without major violations. However, a handful of locations were cited for issues related to improper food storage temperatures and inadequate handwashing stations. One local diner was flagged for cold-hold items sitting above the required 41 degrees Fahrenheit, prompting a follow-up visit to ensure compliance.

Another convenience store faced a citation for a lack of sanitizer in its dishwashing setup, while a mobile food truck was temporarily sidelined after inspectors found a broken refrigeration unit. In each case, the health department provided corrective action notices, and re-inspections are scheduled to verify that the problems are resolved.

The health department reminds the public that full inspection reports are available for review. Residents are encouraged to report any concerns about food safety directly to the department's environmental health division. The next round of inspections is expected to cover additional food service operations in the coming weeks.
