The Health Cluster has published its latest "Who does What, Where, and When" (4Ws) infographic for the Syrian Arab Republic, covering activities in May 2026. The report provides a snapshot of health partner presence and service delivery across the country during that month.

According to the data, a total of 97 health partners were operational in Syria in May 2026. These organizations ran 1,042 health facilities, including hospitals, primary health care centers, and mobile clinics. The infographic highlights that the highest concentration of health partners was in Aleppo, Idleb, and Rural Damascus governorates, reflecting ongoing humanitarian needs in these areas.

The report also breaks down the types of health services provided. Reproductive health services were available in 783 facilities, while mental health and psychosocial support were offered in 472 locations. Trauma and emergency care remained a priority, with 348 facilities providing such services. 221 facilities supported nutrition programs, and 190 offered rehabilitation services.

The 4Ws tool is used by the Health Cluster to coordinate the humanitarian health response, identify gaps, and avoid duplication of efforts. The May 2026 data shows that despite ongoing challenges, including access constraints and damage to infrastructure, health partners continue to reach millions of people across Syria with essential medical care.
